Today Sunday March 1st , Rain in the forecast, Woke up early and watched the weather channel for a while. Then decided to get some breakfast, it was a nice buffet spread. Tomorrow i want to try the grits. After breakfast we went back to our room, and finished getting ready to head to the golf course. At this time it was only lightly raining. The first two and a half holes were just light rain. Then it got progressively more intense. We got to the fifth hole at witch it started really coming down with some thunder in the backround, we both hit our tee shots. (At this time the fairways were starting to puddle up) We both tried to hit our second shots. The thunder got a little to close. So we decided to head back to the club house to attempt to wait it out. WE waited about 20 to 30 minutes when it started to lighten up and we tried to start again.... We finished the hole and started the next as the rain started to pick up again. The Greens and fairways in the lower part of the golf course were really starting to hold a lot of water. The cup on the fifth green was competely filled with water.. The 6th hole i hit my tee shot. it was the medium length par 3. My father tried to hit his tee shot but only went about 50 yards because his club came out of his hand. So he tried his next shot and the same thing happened again. At that point we said enough and went to the clubhouse to call it a day. we were able to get a rain check for the back 9. It is now around lunch time. I got to try to figure out something to do for the rest of the day. Catch you later.

Got into Myrtle Beach, forgot the snow shoes(LOL) the two flights to get here went well. we did have a delay in Washington, D.C. The current weather report is for heavy rain for the next day and a half with a chance of Snow for monday morning. The hotel os right on the water. my room is overlooking the water. The current weather is overcast with some light rain and about 58 degrees. Pictures to follow.

Can not wait till my trip to S.C. For some sun, golf and warm weather. I leave Sat. Feb 28th and return Mar. 5th.. I will try to update while down in South Carolina. Please come back for more info..........
